Great service - good people, very authentic The sauces and toppings make the food so good, crazy fresh and staff is so passionate about their culture.

My go to place for a great shawarma. Good service! Would highly recommend. Food is good and price is really exceptional

The falfafel platter and samosas are good. The hummus and baba ghanouj are usually good. But the spinach pies -- what happened to them? They used to be great, and now they're kind of ... ick. Maybe they're using a different kind of cheese now? It doesn't taste like feta

Honestly, I like Damas Falafel house. It's a good value for what it is. It's not the best falafel in the area, but it costs half as much. They are more than happy to load up the toppings, and I've always been happy with what I've been given. However, why pizza? You're a Mediterranean restaurant, and your baklava is solid along with the other Mediterranean food you serve. Why do you want to put out a sub par pizza and try to be like a half bodega. Just crush what you're good at! You are better than needing to try and please everyone.

Low key space with amazing food.

Good food, good service and decent prices. I love for them to succeed lot more than they do now.

Would get the special veggie platter every week it has a lot of different things in it and is great nutritionally!

I really appreciate how fast and easy it is to get a really good quality lunch or dinner from Damas. Super quick delivery and also quick for pick up. The food is consistently good. They use lots of fresh vegetables in their dishes and it's really affordable for the amount of food. I usually order the vegetable combo special lunch platter lunch special ($9.95 on Grubhub) and/or the chicken kebab sandwich ($8.25 on Grubhub). I've also tried the spinach pie which was good, and have also ordered a side of hummus for home which was really good. This isn't really a restaurant to go to with friends because there isn't outdoor seating and it's really quiet inside. More of a solo lunch or dinner spot. I will definitely continue ordering from here.

Reading other reviews, I think most complaints must be centered around delivery, because there's a lot of complaints about it being soggy, or cold, etc. I've never gotten delivery, but I've eaten there probably 15x as a convenient lunch spot, and if you get their sandwiches for eat-in or take-out, they are made immediately fresh in front of you and are really solid. The falafel is fried fresh for each sandwich individually, as are the fries, so it's pretty hard to imagine them being soggy. The lamb is pretty good too, and also heated fresh for each sandwich on a grill, well marinated. As for the fillings, standard lettuce, their pickles are good, they add a bunch of pickled onions so if you're not a fan, I'd order without. Their white sauce is pretty standard watered down tahini, their hot sauce is total meh. Pro tip, we bought a bottle of hot sauce from Mamoun's (which lasts forever because it's so hot), and add Mamoun's hot sauce to the sandwiches when we eat them at home - with that we really do love the sandwiches.
